With our latest mobile app update, you can now view, manage, and log Interactions directly from an individual’s profile—helping you stay informed and take action without missing a beat.
Note: Interactions is a feature of Amplify People and requires the Interactions Module to be enabled.
What’s New
Permissioned users will now see a new Interactions section on each person’s profile (regardless of how you navigated to the Profile Screen). From here, you can:
- Quickly view recent interactions
- Tap into interaction details
- Add or log new interactions instantly
Why This Matters
Before this update, viewing or logging Interactions required navigating to the Interactions module and searching for a person.
Now, everything you need is in one place.

How It Works
View Interactions on a Profile
Navigate to an individual’s profile screen through any Module, such as the People (Directory) module, and scroll to the Interactions section.
You’ll see a list of recent interactions, whether prayer requests, assigned tasks, past calls or visits your ministry has logged, etc.
Tap to View Interaction Details
Select any interaction to open a detailed view, where you can review notes, assignments, and follow-up instructions.
This makes it easy to quickly understand recent engagement with that individual.
Add or Log a New Interaction
Tap the Add Interaction button directly from the profile to quickly record a new interaction.
- Assign a follow-up task
- Log a conversation or visit
- Capture prayer requests or notes
Old Way vs. New Way
- Old Way: Navigate to the Interactions module, search for the person, then view or log interactions
- New Way: Access everything directly from the person’s profile with a single tap
Ministry in Motion: Real-Life Example
For any personal care need, quickly pull up a member’s profile on your phone and see:
- A recent prayer request
- Follow-up tasks assigned to another leader
- Notes from previous ministry interactions
In seconds, you’re up to speed and ready for a meaningful conversation.
After your conversation, you log a new interaction right from the profile—capturing important details while they’re fresh.
No extra steps. No forgotten details. Just better care.
Note: The Interactions section will only appear for users who have permission to view and manage interactions.
