We've updated the Mobile App so it can display your logo and ministry name in the header, making it easy for your community to recognize they're using your App.
In addition, we've standardized the header icons that display in every menu style on the right-hand side.
What's Changing?
- Your logo now dynamically appears in the header of your mobile app.
- We've added a new field, Name of your App, that allows you to add your ministry name to the right of your logo.
- On the right side of the header, across every menu style, we've added standard icons for check-in (if enabled), notifications, and my profile.
Why Are We Making This Change?
Until now, organizations couldn't easily display their logo or name within the Mobile App. This update enables you to display your branding consistently across all three menu styles.
Standard header icons in every menu style (Check-In, Notifications, and My Profile) make common actions easy to access and simplify future updates across all design styles.

Do I Need to Update Anything?
To ensure a frictionless rollout, there's nothing you need to immediately change.
- If you haven't added a logo, nothing will appear in the header of your mobile app.
That said, we suggest making the following updates to personalize your app.
Add Your Logo
If you haven't already, upload your logo under App Settings > Logo (below).
Note: Your logo must be a minimum of 372 pixels by 372 pixels, and no larger than 24 MB in size. If you're using the dark theme, we recommend using a logo with a transparent background (PNG or GIF).
Add Your Ministry Name
Under App Settings > General Info, add your ministry name in the Name of Your App field.
Note: This field has a 12-character limit to ensure the name fully displays on every mobile screen size. You may need to use abbreviated wording.
We've left this field as optional in case you prefer to leave it blank and display only your logo.
FAQs
How will my App Display at Release?
Your logo will appear in the top-left corner of the header. The App Name space will be blank.
To add your Ministry name, navigate to App Settings > General Info, then fill in the Name of Your App field.
Will this Change Affect New Users Finding our App?
No. After installing My Church Home, when users search for your ministry by name, results still populate based on the Ministry Name field.
We Use the Tiled Menu. Where did the Logo Go?
With this change, the larger logo that appeared above the tiles has been removed. Your logo will now appear only at the top left of the header, as standard with all other menu styles.
Pro-Tip: If you'd like your logo or branding to appear larger on the app home screen, we suggest creating a Custom Page (Flex Content) and leading with a Banner Image that displays your logo.
In tandem with the bottom or slide-out style menu, a custom 'welcome' page with your logo will display first whenever a user opens your app, provided it's in the topmost position (example below, banner image highlighted orange).
